It's amazing how life has the best timing on connecting the right people for a greater purpose. In my case, I was introduced to Dani MacGregor as my husband’s dearest cousin’s bestie. From what seemed to be a casual mention on a phone call, turned into a fierce creative collabo. Who needs social networking when you have great family and friends right?
Coming from the advertising industry, I have seen firsthand the impact that design can have in creating compelling messages for target audiences. But as much as I have enjoyed being part of this dynamic industry, I have always felt that something was missing. I yearned for the chance to use my design skills for the greater good - to contribute to creating positive social change in a way that truly makes a difference.
My passion for design began at an early age, and over the years, I have honed my skills in both print and digital mediums. While I enjoyed creating campaigns and advertisements that resonated with audiences, I knew something was missing. I wanted to use my skills to give back to society, and to be a part of something bigger than myself.
At The Charity Design Co., I am part of a team of incredibly talented designers and marketers who are all committed to using their skills for social change. Our focus is to collaborate with non-profits and charities worldwide to help them develop campaigns that make an impact. We work on projects ranging from fundraising campaigns to awareness- raising initiatives, and each day is different, with exciting new challenges.
